Childs Engineering Corporation was tasked by NAVFAC with conducting routine Waterfront Facility Inspections at 89 facilities in Japan, and determining the adequacy of mooring hardware layouts and capacities based on ships that are commonly berthed at 13 of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) fueling facilities in Yokosuka and Sasebo, Japan.
