Engineer Diver
Childs Engineering invites skilled and adventurous Engineer Divers to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll split your time between the field and office, conducting topside and underwater inspections, supporting design and analysis work, and helping deliver solutions for piers, seawalls, wharves, and other marine structures. This position offers unique opportunities to travel, dive, and contribute to complex waterfront projects across the U.S. and beyond.
We’re looking for candidates with a degree in Civil, Structural, or Ocean Engineering and between 2–8 years of experience specifically within the waterfront engineering industry. A current commercial diving certification (such as ADCI) is required, along with strong technical skills and a desire to take on both field and design responsibilities.
