The year wrapped up on a high note as the teams at Childs Engineering took some well-deserved time to celebrate the holiday season with activities that combined fun, friendly competition, and a whole lot of laughter.
Massachusetts Team Hits the Ice
Our Massachusetts team kicked off their holiday festivities in Wayland, MA, where they embraced the winter spirit with an afternoon of curling. After a quick introduction to the sport by experienced curlers, team members took to the ice with brooms and stones in hand, learning the ropes and quickly getting into the competitive spirit.
The friendly matches brought out some surprising talent, and a lot of team spirit, as colleagues faced off to see who could glide their way to victory.
New Jersey Team Throws Down
Meanwhile, our New Jersey team opted for something a little more bold – axe throwing! What began as a challenging new skill soon turned into a wildly entertaining evening of competition and celebration. After some practice (and a few off-target throws), the team got into the groove, cheering each other on as they took aim and let the axes fly.
