Our team kicked off the 2026 Career Fair season by attending the Spring Career Fair at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
It was a great opportunity to connect with civil engineering students interested in internship positions and full-time career opportunities. Career fairs like these give us the chance to meet talented students who are eager to begin their careers and learn more about the unique work we do at Childs Engineering, combining engineering expertise with commercial diving. We especially enjoyed speaking with students interested in hands-on engineering work both in the field and below the surface.

We’re already looking ahead and plan to attend more career fairs this year, including events at UMass Amherst and Penn State University this coming Fall.
